It's Gucci Baby!

Can we just lust over this beautiful collection that I can't afford for just a second? Gucci's new creative director Alessandro Michele took us back to That 70's Show with Jackie inspired looks for Milan Fashion Week. Michele definitely brightened up the brand bringing a lot of colors and flair to the Fall 2016 Ready to Wear Collection. Below are some our favorite looks.

Bundle Up w/ Moncler

"6:30pm SHARP" is what the Moncler Grenoble F/W 16 invitation read. Pretty clever of the marketing team because I'm sure if any of us knew prior that the show would take place outside of the Lincoln Center in 15 degree weather no one would've showed up. The show started with a platoon of men and women draped in all blue Moncler from head to toe. Once the show started and the models formed a circle around the Lincoln Center Plaza it made more sense why the presentation took place outside. Future heads up if you're ever invited to a Moncler show wear the brand just in case; you never know!

Street Glam w/ 5:31 Jérôme

FIT Alum and CBC fav Jerome Lamar showed us his version of Street Glam during Made Fashion Week F/W 16.

In his new collection the 5:31 Jérôme creator paid homage to the glitz and glam of New York Street Style. Queen B, Beyoncé that is, thinks the collection is just as glamorous as she has already purchased a few items herself. Check out snaps of the collection below.

The designer Jérôme Lamar himself doing some touch ups throughout the presentation.

Details. Details. Details.

CBC Goes To School w/ Public School NYC

Combine neutrals with men's wear? You got me there! Thank you Fashion Gods: for making this years New York Men's Fashion Week, the week before New York Fashion Week. The theme for Public School's Men's 2016 Fall/Winter Show was Outside/In; in which it was literally inside of Milk Studios and outside within a block radius. Anyone walking past the corner of 14th and 10th or walking the Highline had the chance to enjoy the show. Talk about giving back to the community! Check out our favorite pieces and our fabulous Essence.com feature.
