Chanel Takes it To the Streets for Paris Fashion Week

Fashion week made it over to Paris as of last week (because yes fashion week is still happening!) What other brand would be best to show you how to strut your stuff in Parisian streets besides the ever so classic Chanel? Chanel debuted their colorful with a hint of black and white threads for Spring 2015 this morning literally on the streets of Paris. Lagerfield kept the classic Chanel suit look alive while throwing in a few blues here and pinks there. Check it out!! 

 

Keeping Up w/ Kendall

Yes of course we're all stans for the 3 older Kardashian sisters ( Kourtney, Kim, Khole) but what about those younger 2? Kylie and Kendall are people too you know. From the cute little sister to new it model, Kendall is strutting in a lane of her own. Modeling alongside iconic super model Naomi Campbell, Miss Kendall Jenner is not to be slept on. You can catch Kendall all over the net this Fashion Week Season on the cover of Teen Vogue's September issue to the runways of Marc Jacobs spring collection. Werk Kendall!

Fashion Week Over? Not Quite

Think of September as Fashion Month. All of the trends change from summer to fall and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week goes from New York to London. The thing I love about the 2 totally different cities is some (higher end) designers show in both cities with 2 totally different collections. And of course when you're cheap like myself you just fantasize about owning these lovely garments. Here's a few pieces from London's Fashion Week:

AltuzarraForTarget hit stores and Target.com as well as Netaporter.com yesterday. The very fall color pallet ranged from rich velvet maroons to snake print neutrals with all pieces reasonablely priced under $100. With limited items still available on both sites here are a few of my favorite looks. 

Why Buy? DIY!!

One of the best things that could've ever happened to a cheap person like myself was creative drive to recreate things myself. A good friend of mines sent me a picture of these beautiful bedazzled jeans  and I thought it was worth a shot to try and recreate them myself.

Thank you thank you and thank you Gilt Group (if you're not a member please sign up) for having these beautiful Sam Elderman sandals on sale. Originally $225 I searched high and low for these sandals in my size (and for a cheaper price) and BAM there they were $69 on Gilt Group. And to top it off they're comfy. 

Rihanna in Alexander Wang

The long awaited AW x H&M collection isn't scheduled to hit stores until early November. And guess who got it first. Rihanna of course. The spandex/ track pants trend has sky rocketed over this last season and after seeing Rihanna in the Wang version the trend won't be ending anytime soon.
